
Chennai, 8 April (H.S.) : The Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) party is set to hold a crucial general council meeting on April 30 to strategize for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Led by Premalatha Vijayakant, the party’s leader and widow of the party’s founder, the meeting aims to outline the party’s poll strategy.
The DMDK is reportedly exploring the possibility of a poll alliance with the AIADMK, with senior leader LK Sutheesh hinting at a potential partnership. The meeting will focus on charting a comprehensive poll strategy, taking into account the party’s strengths and weaknesses.
