Srinagar, Jan 27 (KINS): Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Tuesday hosted a high-tea interaction for the Jammu and Kashmir tableau team that participated in the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path. The tableau had earned wide appreciation for beautifully showcasing the region’s rich culture and traditions.
Interacting with the artists, performers and officials, the Minister congratulated the team for their disciplined and impressive presentation. He said the tableau successfully connected people across the country with the colours, art forms and cultural depth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Singh highlighted that the portrayal of lavender fields, Basholi art, folk dances and traditional symbols reflected the cultural continuity of the region and aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of development rooted in heritage. He encouraged the team to continue preserving and promoting traditional art forms on national platforms, noting that India’s progress towards Viksit Bharat @2047 will be strengthened by its cultural roots and community participation.
