New Delhi, May 13 (H.S.): Rishabh Bhatia, director of ServoTech Sports, has praised the Dream League of India. He stated that it is not just a league but a means of giving wings to talents.

Due to the growing popularity of tennis cricket balls in India, the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF) has granted it recognition. The concept of the year-round Dream League of India has been well received by the ITCF. It will not only include a franchise competition but also inter-zonal and zonal championship tournaments, allowing players to remain active throughout the year and hone talents from every region.

Rishabh Bhatia mentioned in a statement, It is heartening to know that the Dream League of India is going to provide a platform for such talents who are seldom seen by anyone. It is not just a league; it is a means of giving wings to talents. We are looking for players who have passion and talent but lack opportunities.

Regarding this, Kanhaiya Gurjar, president of the Tennis Cricket Association of India (TCAI), said, Dream League of India is not just a platform; it is a gateway to making an international identity. Players who perform excellently in this league will get the opportunity to wear the Indian jersey and participate in the Tennis Cricket World Cup, Asia Cup, and other international series.

In May 2025, ServoTech Sports launched the Dream League of India, which is the first league of its kind based on tennis cricket balls. Participating players will also have the chance to represent India in the Tennis Cricket World Cup and Asia Cup. During this nationwide competition, scouts will closely monitor players, which will form the basis for selecting the Indian team for the World Cup and Asia Cup.

The tennis cricket ball World Cup and Asia Cup will be held in India. This will be the first time that a global and continental tournament played entirely with tennis balls will take place in India. The Dream League of India will feature both Juniors (13–18) and Seniors (18+) categories, with six franchise teams participating in each category. Interested players can register on the official website of the league or the StarsPit app. Open and fair trials will be conducted under the supervision of more than 1,500 certified coaches across various districts and centers in India.

860 junior and 860 senior players will be shortlisted for the auction of the Dream League of India. Six franchise teams in each category will select their respective players. The players shortlisted through fair trials will participate in the auction of the Dream League of India. The best-performing players may get the opportunity to represent India from the International Tennis Cricket Federation (ITCF).

Additionally, players who do not get sold in the auction will participate in the country’s largest inter-zonal tournament. The best players from this tournament will receive a ‘Platinum Card,’ allowing them to qualify for DLI Season 2. The zonal champion team will compete in the all-zonal championship, and the winning team will face the franchise champion team from Season 1 in the inaugural match of Season 2. Thus, every player will have the opportunity to gain recognition and national pride.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been appointed as the league commissioner of the Dream League of India. Along with him, renowned musician Salim Merchant has also joined the league as one of the six celebrity faces.
