New Delhi, April 16 (H.S.): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) interrogated Robert Vadra for several hours on Wednesday for the second consecutive day in the DLF land deal scam case located in Gurugram, Haryana. After the questioning, Robert Vadra stated that he trusts the truth and is prepared to face any kind of pressure. His wife and Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also present with him today. The ED has summoned Robert Vadra for questioning at the agency’s headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday at 11 AM.

The day before, on Tuesday, ED officials had conducted a marathon interrogation of Robert Vadra for about six hours in this case. After that, he was summoned for questioning again today. The central investigative agency has made it clear that Robert Vadra will also be questioned tomorrow. While leaving the ED office, Robert Vadra said, Yes, they have also summoned me for questioning tomorrow. They will keep calling me….

Today, Robert Vadra walked two kilometers from his home located in Sujan Singh Park in central Delhi to reach the ED headquarters on APJ Abdul Kalam Road. While talking to reporters along the way, he revealed that this case is nearly 20 years old. He accused the BJP of targeting him under political vengeance. Vadra stated, I have gone to the investigation agencies’ offices 15 times. I have been interrogated for more than 10 hours at a time and I have submitted 23,000 documents. Then they ask me to resubmit these documents again within a week; how is that possible?

The central investigative agency, ED, is probing a money laundering case related to a land deal in Haryana from 2008. It is alleged that the then Congress government of Haryana, led by Bhupinder Singh Hooda, assisted Robert Vadra, husband of Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, in this DLF land scam.
