New Delhi, April 15 (H.S.): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned businessman Robert Vadra on a money laundering case regarding a land deal in Gurugram, Haryana, which he labeled as political vengeance.
Vadra, husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was summoned for his company’s involvement in a land purchase in Shikohpur village. After receiving the summons, he traveled two kilometers to the ED office for questioning, where he reiterated his stance against the agency’s actions, claiming they were politically motivated. He expressed frustration over having previously cooperated with the agency, stating he provided extensive documentation and answered numerous questions, yet felt targeted as new cases emerged against him whenever he spoke out on national issues or considered entering politics.
Vadra maintained his resolve, stating, I will not be intimidated. The public is with me. The recent summons follows a previous one issued on April 8, which he did not attend, as the ED investigates alleged financial irregularities tied to his firm, Skylight Hospitality pvt ltd.
