Guwahati, 08 March (HS): Pan Bazar police of Guwahati city has arrested a female accused of narcotic drug smuggler with heroin on International Womens Day.

Police said on Saturday that on the basis of secret information, 16.11 grams of heroin packed in 8 small plastic CCs was recovered during the operation conducted near railway gate number two of the area.

The female accused of smuggling has been arrested in this case has been identified as Durga Das (19, Golaghat). Police have registered an FIR under the NDPS act. in this regard and are interrogating the arrested accused.
