Chaired by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, the committee’s focus will be on the diplomatic, military, and regional impacts following India’s military operation.

The context includes heightened tensions due to a terror attack in Pahalgam, leading to India’s targeted actions against terror infrastructure across the border, which precipitated several days of military confrontations before a ceasefire was reached on May 10.
