Guwahati, 06 March (HS): Assam Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi is trying to spread misleading propaganda regarding ‘Advantage Assam 2025’. After failing to mislead the public and disrupt this big investment conference, now the Congress leadership has resorted to conspiracies out of frustration and jealousy. BJP Assam Pradesh spokesperson Subhash Dutta said in a statement that the signing of investment agreements is worth about ₹5 lakh crore has caused frustration and jealousy among Congress leaders.

Dutta said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, investment summits are being organized in various states towards making India the third largest economy in the world by 2030. The NDA government is making efforts at the center and state level to attract investment under a clear policy.

Dutta described the Congress as a narrow-minded party and said that due to this thinking Assam remained backward. But, under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, the youth of Assam will not lag behind. The target is to include Assam in the top five states of the country.

Lakhimpur MLA Manav Deka launched a scathing attack on Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi and said why is he silent on the serious allegations related to national security? Many reports have claimed that he and his wife are involved in anti-national activities, but he has not given any clear answer till now.

Deka said that Gaurav Gogoi is vocal on every issue, but he is silent on his wife Elizabeth’s visits to Pakistan and alleged links with anti-India elements like Ali Tauqeer. His silence is proof of his shirking responsibility.

He also attacked Gaurav Gogoi’s statement on ‘Advantage Assam 2.0’, saying that the Congress MP had shown a distorted map of India in a video. Does Gaurav Gogoi not consider Kashmir a part of India? On whose behest is he trying to show Kashmir as a part of Pakistan? Or was this done under the influence of his wife?

Deka challenged the Congress MP to first clarify the serious allegations against him and not spread false propaganda.
