New Delhi, July 3(HS): Positive signals are emerging from the global market today. US markets closed strongly, with the S&P 500 index rising by 0.47% to 6,227.42 points and the Nasdaq increasing by 0.94% to 20,393.13 points. Dow Jones futures are trading at 44,556.07 points, up 0.16%. In Europe, mixed results were observed: the FTSE index decreased by 0.12% to 8,774.69 points, while the CAC index climbed by 0.98% to 7,738.42 points, and the DAX added 0.49% to reach 23,790.11 points.

In Asia, a generally bullish atmosphere prevails, with 7 out of 9 markets in the green. The Hang Seng index fell by 1.04% to 23,970.62 points, and the Straits Times index dropped by 0.14% to 4,005.31 points. Conversely, the GIFT Nifty rose by 0.05% to 25,543.50 points, the Nikkei gained 0.11% to 39,807.98 points, and the Taiwan Weighted Index surged by 0.92% to 22,786.28 points. The KOSPI index saw a jump of 0.85% to 3,101.24 points, while the Jakarta Composite, SET Composite, and Shanghai Composite indices recorded increases of 0.27%, 0.25%, and 0.07%, respectively.
