New Delhi, July 22(HS): Mixed signals are evident in the global market today. The US market closed strongly, following a positive session, with Dow Jones futures showing an upward trend. Wall Street indices saw gains, with the S&P 500 rising by 0.14 percent to 6,305.60, and the Nasdaq gaining 0.38 percent to 20,974.17 points. Dow Jones futures are up 0.15 percent at 44,390.85 points. European markets showed mixed results due to last-minute selling; the FTSE increased by 0.23 percent to 9,012.99, while the DAX was up 0.08 percent at 24,307.80.

Conversely, the CAC fell by 0.31 percent to 7,798.22. In Asia, mixed trading continues, with 5 of the 9 markets in green. The Taiwan Weighted Index is down 206.24 points (0.88 percent) at 23,134.32, and the KOSPI has slipped 0.85 percent to 3,183.57. The Straits Times and Nikkei also decreased. However, the GIFT Nifty is up 0.26 percent at 25,154, and the Shanghai Composite has gained 0.24 percent to 3,568.78, along with other indices showing slight increases.
