Gold and Silver Prices Tumble in Indian Bullion Markets

Delhi, 29 October (H.S.): The decline in precious metal prices continued across India’s domestic bullion markets on Wednesday, with both gold and silver experiencing significant drops. Gold prices fell sharply by a margin of ₹2,250 to ₹2,460 per 10 grams.

Following this downturn, 24-carat gold is trading in a range of ₹1,20,810 to ₹1,20,960 per 10 grams in most major markets. The price for 22-carat gold is currently between ₹1,10,740 and ₹1,10,890 per 10 grams. Silver also recorded a price fall, with the metal trading at ₹1,50,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital, Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,20,960 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,10,890. Similar rates were observed in Lucknow and Jaipur.

In Mumbai, the country’s financial hub, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,20,810 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,740. These prices were mirrored in other major cities including Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, in Ahmedabad and Patna, the retail price for 24-carat gold was ₹1,20,860 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at ₹1,10,790. The widespread price drop reflects a consistent trend across the country’s bullion markets.
