Gold Dips Slightly Amid Steady Silver: Bullion Markets Hold Their Ground Across India

New Delhi, August 29(HS): In domestic bullion markets today, gold prices witnessed a marginal decline while silver rates remained unchanged for the third consecutive day. The 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,02,590 and ₹1,02,740 per 10 grams across major markets in the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between ₹94,040 and ₹94,190 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver continued to hold firm at ₹1,20,000 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,02,740 per 10 grams, with 22-carat gold at ₹94,190 per 10 grams. Mumbai reflected slightly lower rates, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,02,590 and 22-carat at ₹94,040 per 10 grams. Ahmedabad’s retail prices for 24-carat and 22-carat gold were quoted at ₹1,02,640 and ₹94,090, respectively. Chennai and Kolkata also reported 24-carat gold trading at ₹1,02,590 and 22-carat gold at ₹94,040 per 10 grams.

Regional markets similarly showed slight declines. Lucknow, Jaipur, and Patna posted 24-carat gold prices near ₹1,02,740, while 22-carat hovered around ₹94,190 per 10 grams. South Indian metros including Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar reported 24-carat gold at ₹1,02,590 and 22-carat gold at ₹94,040 per 10 grams.

The minor dip in gold prices reflects cautious sentiment among investors amid stable silver prices, which have seen no change for three days running, maintaining stability in precious metal trading across India’s key bullion centers.
