Gold peaks amid America-China tensions

New Delhi, April 17 (H.S.): The ongoing tensions over tariffs between the United States and China have led to a significant surge in the domestic bullion market. For the first time today, 24-carat gold is trading above the 96,000 mark. Similarly, 22-carat gold has also crossed the 88,000 rupee threshold today. The silver market is also seeing an upward trend today.

Due to today’s surge, gold has become more expensive by 970 to 1,010 rupees per 10 grams. Following this price jump, 24-carat gold is trading in most of the country’s bullion markets at a range of 96,180 to 99,330 rupees per 10 grams. Likewise, 22-carat gold is selling today between 88,160 to 88,310 rupees per 10 grams. Additionally, silver has also increased by 300 rupees today, resulting in this shiny metal being priced at 1,00,000 rupees per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold is trading at 96,330 rupees per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold is recorded at 88,310 rupees per 10 grams. Meanwhile, in the country’s financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold is available for 96,180 rupees per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at 88,160 rupees per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold is 96,230 rupees per 10 grams and that of 22-carat gold is 88,210 rupees per 10 grams. Besides these key cities, in Chennai, 24-carat gold is priced at 96,180 rupees per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at 88,160 rupees per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold is also trading at 96,180 rupees per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at 88,160 rupees per 10 grams.

In the gold market of Lucknow, 24-carat gold is selling today at a price of ₹96,330 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold is priced at ₹88,310 per 10 grams. In Patna, the price of 24-carat gold is ₹96,230 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is being sold at ₹88,210 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, 24-carat gold has been sold at ₹96,330 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹88,310 per 10 grams.

Like other states in the country, there has also been a rise in gold prices today in the gold markets of Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha. In the capitals of these three states, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold is trading today at ₹96,180 per 10 grams. Similarly, in the gold markets of these three cities, 22-carat gold is selling at ₹88,160 per 10 grams.
