New Delhi, August 28 (HS): The domestic bullion market witnessed a fresh upswing in gold prices today, while silver remained unchanged. With this rise, 24-carat gold is trading between ₹1,02,600 and ₹1,02,750 per 10 grams in most major markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold is being sold in the range of ₹94,050 to ₹94,200 per 10 grams. Silver, on the other hand, continues to rule steady at ₹1,20,000 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In the national capital Delhi, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹1,02,750 per 10 grams, while 22-carat stands at ₹94,200 per 10 grams. Mumbai, the country’s financial hub, recorded ₹1,02,600 for 24-carat and ₹94,050 for 22-carat gold. Ahmedabad retail prices stood at ₹1,02,650 (24-carat) and ₹94,100 (22-carat). Chennai and Kolkata both reported ₹1,02,600 (24-carat) and ₹94,050 (22-carat) levels.

Other regional hubs reflected similar trends. Lucknow saw the highest price at ₹1,02,750 (24-carat) and ₹94,200 (22-carat), while Patna quoted ₹1,02,650 and ₹94,100, respectively. Jaipur mirrored the Lucknow rates with ₹1,02,750 and ₹94,200.

Meanwhile, bullion markets in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar also registered firmness, with 24-carat gold at ₹1,02,600 and 22-carat at ₹94,050 per 10 grams.

Market analysts attribute the rally in gold to a mix of global cues and sustained domestic demand, whereas silver’s stability signals subdued movement in industrial buying.
