Gold, Silver Hit Fresh Records Across India; 24K Near Rs 1.29 Lakh/10g, Silver Rs 1.89 Lakh/kg

Delhi, 15 October (H.S.): India’s domestic bullion market extended its record-breaking rally on Wednesday, with both gold and silver scaling fresh peaks. In intraday trade, gold rose by Rs 2,700 to Rs 2,950 per 10 grams, while silver jumped by up to Rs 4,000 per kilogram.

Across most major bullion hubs, 24-carat gold traded in the Rs 1,28,360–1,28,510 per 10 grams range, while 22-carat gold was quoted between Rs 1,17,660 and Rs 1,17,810 per 10 grams. In Delhi, silver climbed to Rs 1,89,100 per kilogram amid broad-based price strength.

City-wise, 24K/22K retail gold rates were as follows:

Delhi: Rs 1,28,510 / Rs 1,17,810 per 10g

Mumbai: Rs 1,28,360 / Rs 1,17,660 per 10g

Ahmedabad: Rs 1,28,410 / Rs 1,17,710 per 10g

Chennai: Rs 1,28,360 / Rs 1,17,660 per 10g

Kolkata: Rs 1,28,360 / Rs 1,17,660 per 10g

Lucknow: Rs 1,28,510 / Rs 1,17,810 per 10g

Patna: Rs 1,28,410 / Rs 1,17,710 per 10g

Jaipur: Rs 1,28,510 / Rs 1,17,810 per 10g

Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar: Rs 1,28,360 / Rs 1,17,660 per 10g

The sustained upswing kept both precious metals on a firm footing, with traders citing continued momentum in retail buying and strong quotes across regional markets.
