Governor inspected ongoing projects and academic activities of Avadh University

Governor visited various classes and interacted with the students

28 Feb (HS): State Governor Anandiben

Patel on Friday visited Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University and inspected

various ongoing projects and academic activities there. On the new campus of

the university, the Governor inspected the laboratory, new campus,

under-construction Institute of Pharmacy building, Sardar Patel Ekta Kendra

building, Multipurpose Lecture Hall Complex (First Floor), under-construction

Vice Chancellor’s residence, Registrar, Controller of Examinations and Finance

Officer Residence and other important works. She gave instructions to ensure

timely and quality work.

The Governor also directed the officials regarding the

beautification and cleanliness of the university campus and said that the

environment of educational institutions should be helpful in the mental and

intellectual development of the students. She also said that everyone should

make collective efforts to keep the campus green and clean.

During the inspection, the Governor visited various

classes and interacted with the students to know about their academic progress

and experiences. She motivated the students to move ahead with dedication,

discipline and confidence even with limited resources. She said that struggle

and hard work are the keys to success, and if students study with hard work and

determination, they can certainly achieve their goals. The Governor called upon

the students to seriously understand their role in nation building and said

that today’s youth is the leader of the future. She also directed the

university administration to provide better opportunities for quality education

and research to the students.
