Heavy rains,Dust Storm in Pakistan killed six

Islamabad, May 28 (HS): The powerful storm that hit Pakistan 24 hours ago has revealed extensive devastation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, resulting in significant loss of life and property. In Islamabad, residents faced fierce winds. Reports indicate that at least six people have died and many are injured due to the storm. In Manaki village, a child was killed when a wall and roof collapsed, injuring his mother and brother.

Similarly, a woman and her son were hurt in Ziarat Cham Baba when a shed’s roof fell. In Bisham, Shangla, a person died from a lightning strike, and six others fell unconscious. A young man was injured in Nowshera when a wall collapsed, while in Peshawar, seven others were hurt escaping during the rain, and a car crash occurred near Hayatabad Stadium. In Punjab, a man died from lightning in Mianwali, with additional injuries reported at Makrwal police station. Significant damage also occurred in Rawalpindi, Attock, and Gujranwala, affecting homes and uprooting trees in Islamabad.
