
New Delhi, April 22 (HS): Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s directive, Union Home Minister Amit Shah departed from New Delhi for Srinagar on Tuesday. Shah will hold a security review meeting in Srinagar with all agencies.
Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked to Central Home Minister Amit Shah from Saudi Arabia to discuss the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, and directed him to take appropriate action and visit the incident site.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah posted on X, “Those involved in this heinous terrorist attack will not be spared, and we will take strict action and impose the harshest punishment on them.”
He further stated, “I informed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the incident and held a meeting with the concerned officials via video conferencing. I will soon depart for Srinagar to hold an immediate security review meeting with all agencies.”
