Amit Shah inaugurates 'Self-Empowerment through Inner Awakening’ for security forces personnel at Abu Road, Rajasthan

Sirohi / Delhi, 17 April (H.S.): Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated a national dialogue on ‘Self-Empowerment through Inner Awakening’ for security forces personnel in Rajasthan, with Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma among the dignitaries present. In his speech, he praised the Brahma Kumaris for their efforts to spread peace and spiritual practices globally through yoga and meditation, emphasizing their role in awakening the goodness within individuals. He described the serene atmosphere at the Brahma Kumaris center and noted the significance of having a mentor in life to guide one towards righteousness.

Amit Shah highlighted the impact of Lekhraj Kripalani Ji’s vision of transforming souls into lamps of light, which continues to influence society positively. He commended the Brahma Kumaris for fostering an environment of simplicity, cooperation, and abstinence worldwide through their dedicated work. He launched two initiatives: the theme for Brahma Kumari Sansthan for 2025-26, ‘Meditation for World Unity and World Faith,’ and the dialogue on inner awakening for security personnel.

Acknowledging the sacrifices of security forces, he lauded their dedication to safeguarding the nation under challenging conditions. He stressed the importance of mental and emotional well-being, recognizing the stress faced by security personnel and the need for peace in their lives. Shri Amit Shah praised the Brahma Kumaris for their longstanding efforts in supporting security forces to alleviate stress and promote inner peace, contributing to a stronger and more secure nation. He also reflected on India’s progress as the fifth largest economy and its vision to lead globally by 2047 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Amit Shah emphasized India’s ancient tradition of harmonizing the mind, body, intellect, and soul through yoga and spirituality, which has guided the nation in knowledge and policymaking. He noted that India continues to share this wisdom globally, citing the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, meaning the world is one family, rooted in the Upanishads. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has made strides in promoting its Vedic heritage, exemplified by the establishment of International Yoga Day on June 21, fostering global adoption of yoga, meditation, and spirituality, which Shah believes will lay a foundation for worldwide peace.

Union Home Minister Shah also spoke about Pujya Lekhraj Kripalani Ji’s profound spiritual teachings, which led to the founding of the Brahma Kumaris organization, dedicated to sharing this wisdom worldwide. He highlighted the central role of women in this mission, as the divine feminine has been celebrated, with women leading the Brahma Kumaris. He asserted that true change begins with individual self-transformation, inspiring broader transformations.

The organization promotes core values such as celibacy, vegetarianism, de-addiction, simplicity, and meditation, helping individuals connect with their inner nature as pure and peaceful beings.

By harnessing the strength of womanhood, the Brahma Kumaris have emerged as ambassadors of Indian culture, advocating for messages of peace, dialogue, and spiritual harmony across the globe.
