Hyderabad/Delhi, 22 April (H.S.): The tragic news of the death of Manish Ranjan, an officer with the Intelligence Bureau, has shaken the nation. Ranjan, who was recently promoted to the position of SO and posted in Hyderabad, was on a family vacation in Kashmir when he was shot dead by terrorists in Pehelgam.The incident took place in front of his wife and two children, leaving them traumatized and in shock.

According to police sources, Manish Ranjan was Assistant Section Officer Six months ago with IB. He was promoted to SO and posted to Hyderabad IB office. Manish Ranjan is staying alone in Hyderabad IB quarters. His family members are staying in Bihar. Manish was on leave and planned for a vacation in Kashmir with his family members. Manish was killed in terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
