India U-19 tour of England: Ayush Mhatre to captain, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi named also in 16-member squad

New Delhi, May 22 (H.S.): The Indian Junior Cricket Committee has announced the Under-19 team for the tour of England. This tour will take place from June 24 to July 23, 2025, during which India’s young team will showcase their talent on English soil for a month. The tour will include one 50-over warm-up match, five youth ODIs, and two multi-day matches.

The team will be led by Ayush Mhatre, while Abhijnaan Kundu has been given the responsibility of vice-captain and wicketkeeper. Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been included in the main team based on his recent domestic performances, catching the selectors’ attention.

This England tour will be a golden opportunity for young Indian players to prove themselves on the international stage. Eyes will particularly be on key players like captain Ayush Mhatre and vice-captain Abhijnaan Kundu.
