
New Delhi, March 15 (H.S.): The Indian Super League (ISL) announced the schedule for the playoffs of the 2024-25 season on Saturday. The league phase concluded on March 12, 2025. Knockout matches will be held on March 29 and 30. The semifinals will take place over two legs on April 2-3 and April 6-7, while the final will be held on April 12.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant has made history by winning the league shield for the second consecutive time. They have become the first team in ISL to achieve this feat. In addition to Mohun Bagan, FC Goa (second), Bengaluru FC (third), NorthEast United FC (fourth), Jamshedpur FC (fifth), and Mumbai City FC (sixth) have qualified for the playoffs.
Teams finishing in third to sixth place will face off in knockout matches. The winners of these matches will play the semifinals against Mohun Bagan and FC Goa, who have secured direct spots in the final four. The semifinals will be held in a home and away format. The two teams qualifying for the final will meet on April 12 based on aggregate scores. The final match will be played at the home ground of the team ranked higher in the league table.
