Dhubri (Assam), 25 February (HS): An important meeting was held in Dhubri district on Tuesday under the Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Conference. The meeting was chaired by Dhubri District Commissioner Dibakar Nath. Additional District Commissioner, Administrative Officer, Industrialists, Businessmen and Officers of Related Departments were present in the meeting.

During the meeting, a live telecast of the program going on in Guwahati was shown. After this, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between various entrepreneurs, businessmen and departments of Dhubri district.

A total of 56 investors invested ₹174.09 crore in Dhubri district. In this:

26 investors invested ₹168.43 crore in the Industries Department.

5 investors invested ₹1.45 crore in the Animal Husbandry Department.

5 investors invested ₹1.05 crore in the Agriculture Department.

6 investors invested ₹69 lakh in the Handicrafts Department.

8 investors invested ₹57 lakh under the Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission.

6 investors invested ₹1.9 crore in the Fisheries Department.

The District Commissioner also held a press conference after the conclusion of the programme.
