Iran won't yield to Trump's bullying, says Pezeshkian

Tehran, May 15 (H.S.): Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that the country will never bow to U.S. threats and pressure. He strongly condemned U.S. President Donald Trump’s accusations of Iran being a destabilizing in the region. During a meeting with economic policymakers and investors in Iran’s western province of Kermanshah, he criticized the United States for adopting a dual policy towards Iran. He remarked that the man who calls for peace is the one orchestrating genocide.

According to a report by Iran’s Press TV, President Masoud Pezeshkian said that Trump believes he can sanction us, intimidate us, and then sit down to talk about human rights. We want peace, not war. It is noteworthy that during his visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, Trump referred to Iran as the most destructive force in the Middle East. He stated that the United States will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Trump warned the Islamic Republic of Iran during a meeting of economic investors in Doha, Qatar, on Thursday that there are only two options to resolve the deadlock over its nuclear program: either negotiate or be prepared for potential airstrikes. In response, Iran’s President asserted that how can one believe that a person who openly makes bombs, missiles, and weapons and takes pride in it can claim to promote security and peace? Pajeshekian said that those who have massacred 60,000 people in Gaza, denied helpless individuals access to water, medicine, and food, now falsely claim to advocate for human rights. He stated that they commit genocide in front of the world and shamelessly speak of peace.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry firmly rejected the insulting comments made by the American President against the country in a statement on Wednesday. The statement described Trump as false and divisive. The ministry condemned Trump’s accusations, stating that it is an attempt to distort the realities of the region and place blame on Tehran.
