New Delhi, April 23 (HS): Tarun Chugh, the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, condemned Robert Vadra’s remarks as reflective of anti-national sentiment. He questioned whether Vadra was influenced by anti-national forces, particularly in light of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s characterization of the Pahalgam attack as an assault on India’s sovereignty.

Chugh emphasized that Vadra, who is under investigation by the Enforcement Directorate and known primarily as the Gandhi family’s son-in-law, is unjustly targeting the Modi government. He criticized Vadra’s comments as politically ignorant and damaging to national unity, suggesting a disconnect within the Gandhi family’s views.

Chugh also expressed concern about Priyanka Gandhi’s silence and urged Sonia Gandhi to clarify her position on Vadra’s statements. Furthermore, he termed the Pahalgam attack as a planned massacre, underscoring the brutality of targeting innocents based on religion. He reaffirmed the Modi government’s commitment to a Zero Tolerance policy against terrorism and called for national unity in combating this issue.
