The EOW Jammu dealt with a wide range of cases, including land frauds, high-profile economic offences, impersonation and cheating cases, visa frauds, misappropriation of government funds, and misuse of official position by public servants. Special focus was laid on illegal job consultancy rackets operating in the Jammu zone.

During 2025, the spokesperson said, organised networks of land brokers, habitual offenders, and professional fraudsters involved in systematic economic crimes were identified and booked, sending out a strong deterrent message against economic offences.

He added that the photo sections of the EOW Jammu, established across different districts, played a significant role by providing extensive photographic documentation of crime scenes. These units covered 3,599 crime scenes in cases registered at various police stations across the Jammu zone during the year.(KINS)
