Kokrajhar Fish Market's newly constructed building dedicated to the public

Kokrajhar (Assam), 18 May (HS): The newly constructed fish market building located in the main market area of Kokrajhar, the capital of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), was opened to customers and vendors on Sunday.

This modern facility-equipped fish market building, built by Kokrajhar Municipality at a cost of about ₹1.25 crore, was inaugurated by BTR Chief Executive Member Pramod Boro in the spiritual atmosphere of Mangal-Uruli and Shankhdhwani.

On this occasion, Pramod Boro told the media that a master plan has been prepared in the meantime to beautify Kokrajhar city as a whole as well as to build the necessary infrastructure.

Along with Pramod Boro, BTR Urban Development Department Executive Member Saikhong Basumatari, Kokrajhar Municipality Chairperson Pratibha Brahma and BTC Urban Development Department Senior Officer Lankeshwar Wari, along with many officers and employees were present in the program.
