New Delhi, April 24 (HS): The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives in Baisaran Valley, Pahalgam. In response, LIC has introduced a special process to expedite death claim settlements for the deceased.

Special concessions will be offered to ensure quick claims processing, providing financial support to the families of victims. CEO Siddharth Mohanti emphasized LIC’s commitment to standing by the bereaved families during this difficult time. He announced that compensation from the government can be used as proof of death for claims.

Claimants are reminded that the death claims process is offline, and they should prepare all necessary documents prior to contacting their home branch. LIC promises to prioritize claim settlements and encourages affected individuals to reach out to their nearest LIC branch for assistance.
