Jammu, 10 May (H.S.): At least 8 loud explosions were heard in Srinagar city, few of them near Srinagar Airport this morning while Baramulla town continued to be under attack in the morning and heavy shelling was also reported from Hajipeer sector.

The explosions caused panic and debris of a missile fell near the house of one Ghulam Mohidin Bhat son of Abdul Aziz Bhat of Lasjan in the outskirts of Srinagar.

One person was injured in intense shelling in Garkote Uri. He was rushed to hospital.
