08 March (HS): Muslim youth Gufran hid his identity and married a Hindu girl in

a temple by posing as Jaiprakash. Later, he made a video of the rape and was

blackmailing the girl and pressurizing her to marry him according to Islamic

tradition. When the victim complained about this to the police, he was

arrested.

The

PRO of the Superintendent of Police told on Saturday that a girl had given an

application at the Ubhaon police station that she uses Facebook and Instagram

on her mobile. On which a boy named Jaiprakash contacted the girl through

Instagram. The girl fell into the trap of the boy named Jaiprakash and believed

his words.

On March 2, Jaiprakash took the Hindu girl to the nearby Salempur

temple and married her. After this, he took her to a room and had physical

relations with her. He also made a video of this on his mobile. After this, he

told that he is not a Hindu and is a Muslim. The boy told his name as Mohd.

Gurfan Ahmed. He also told his father’s name as Mohd. Ilyas who is a resident

of Jamuav Khampur police station Ubhaon. He told the girl that now she will

have to adopt the Muslim religion and marry him.

According to the police, a

case was registered at Ubhaon police station under sections 64/61(2) /304 (2)

/318 (4) BNS and 3/5 (1) of the Uttar Pradesh Unlawful Conversion of Religion

Act. On Saturday, Ubhaon’s in-charge inspector Rajendra Prasad Singh arrested

Gufran Ahmed alias Lala son of Md. Ilyas from the temple near Dambal Baba

Parti. The police sent Gufran to court.
