In this sequence, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will lay the foundation stone of Jindal Thermal Power Plant in Shalbani on April 21 and will inaugurate a solar power plant in Goaltore the next day. Local people hope that this will provide employment to a large number of people. Speaking to reporters at Nabanna on Thursday, Mamata said, Bengal is the new destination for industry. The foundation stone of Jindal’s thermal power plant will be laid in Shalbani on April 21 at 2 pm. As time passes, the number of people is increasing. As a result, the demand is increasing. Earlier people did not use AC.
Now almost everyone does. Electricity consumption has increased by 11 percent. If the Deucha Pachmi project starts, there will be no problem for the next 100 years. Electricity prices will be reduced. We do not increase prices. CESC increases prices. It is not in our hands. The more power plants there are, the more balanced the prices will be. It is worth mentioning that two 800 MW plants are being built in Shalbani. Jindal brothers have invested more than Rs 16,000 crore. He further said, Work is going on at the power plant in Sagardighi. Work is going on at the power plant in Durgapur, Bakreshwar. Work is also going on at Santhal Dighi. Many power plants are being built all over Bengal. Due to this, employment will increase. Income will also increase. Now there will be no load shedding.
After this, on April 22 at 12:30 pm, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the Goalator Solar Power Plant. 80 percent of the financial investment for this project has been made by a German company. The remaining amount is being provided by the state government. This project has been built with an investment of 757 crore taka. The Chief Minister will also inaugurate 25 fire stations on the same day.
