Mann Ki baat strengthens direct dialogue between PM Modi and People: Ashok Koul

Jammu, Dec 27 (KINS):Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul today chaired a meeting of Mandal Presidents, General Secretaries and Mann Ki Baat Mandal Incharges of the Vijaypur Assembly constituency to review and strengthen outreach efforts for the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul underscored the importance of Mann Ki Baat as a distinctive platform that enables direct and meaningful interaction between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the people. He said the programme goes beyond a routine broadcast, serving as a vibrant two-way communication channel that mirrors the thoughts, aspirations and achievements of citizens from across the country.

Koul called upon party office-bearers to actively mobilise prominent local citizens at every booth to participate in listening sessions and post-programme discussions, thereby deepening community engagement and public involvement. He noted that Mann Ki Baat has consistently inspired people to contribute to social causes, raised awareness on national priorities and sparked mass movements related to cleanliness, women empowerment, youth innovation and environmental conservation.

Highlighting the broader impact of the initiative, Koul said the programme has evolved into a powerful catalyst for positive change and inclusive nation-building. He also outlined strategies to enhance its reach and effectiveness, advocating booth-level listening groups, structured discussions and follow-up actions aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision for development.

BJP senior leader Jai Ram Sharma, Mandal Presidents Sushil Singh, Dheeraj Sharma and Narinder Singh, along with all Mann Ki Baat Mandal Incharges, were present at the meeting. The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to systematically organise Mann Ki Baat listening and engagement sessions at every booth in the Vijaypur constituency, ensuring active participation of prominent locals, youth leaders, women’s groups and community elders.(KINS)
