Chennai, 28 April (H.S.) : Senior DMK leader and Padmanabapuram MLA, T Mano Thangaraj, has been reinducted into the Tamil Nadu Cabinet led by Chief Minister M K Stalin.
Following his swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan, Mano Thangaraj was allocated the Milk and Dairy Development portfolio, a department he had previously overseen. This move comes amid a major reshuffle triggered by the resignations of Ministers V Senthilbalaji and K Ponmudy.
Mano Thangaraj expressed his satisfaction with the new portfolio, stating, I am happy to get this portfolio. I will do my best. The cabinet reshuffle marks a significant change in the Tamil Nadu government, with other ministers also being allocated new roles. Notably, Mannargudi DMK MLA Dr TRB Rajaa was sworn in as a minister in the Tamil Nadu cabinet.
This development comes after reports suggested Mano Thangaraj’s previous removal from the department was due to alleged mismanagement and internal conflicts within the party. However, with his reinduction, it seems the DMK supremo has given him another chance to prove himself.
