Mirwaiz Umar Farooq offers condolences to families of Abdul Ahad Farhad and Ghulam Nabi Aga

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Monday visited Buchpora to offer Taziyat and condolences to the family of the late Abdul Ahad Farhad. Remembering him as a distinguished broadcaster, writer and poet, the Mirwaiz according to news agency Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) said Farhad’s voice and words were deeply woven into the collective memory of Kashmir. He recalled Farhad’s close and affectionate association with Shaheed-e-Millat Mirwaiz Molvi Farooq, and his lifelong service to Kashmiri language, literature and broadcasting.

The Mirwaiz prayed for the departed soul’s maghfirah and eternal peace, and for patience for the bereaved family.

The Mirwaiz also visited Shalteng to offer condolences to Mukhtar Ahmad Aga on the demise of his father, Ghulam Nabi Aga, a long-time associate and well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family, and prayed for forgiveness of the departed soul and sabr for the family. (KINS)
