
New Delhi, July 25 (H.S.): Today, global markets are sending mixed signals. The U.S. market experienced fluctuations, with Dow Jones futures displaying strength. Last session, the Dow Jones closed down by 300 points, while the S&P 500 gained 0.07% and Nasdaq rose by 0.18% to 21,057.96 points. Currently, Dow futures are up by 161.35 points, or 0.36%, at 44,855.26 points.
European markets had mixed results; the FTSE increased by 0.84% to 9,138.37 points, and the DAX gained 0.23% to 24,295.93 points, whereas the CAC declined by 0.41% to 7,818.28 points. In Asia, selling pressure prevails, with 6 of 9 markets showing losses. The KOSPI is up 0.34% at 3,201.29 points, Taiwan Weighted Index gains 0.08% at 23,391.34 points, and Jakarta Composite rises by 0.05% to 7,534.39 points.
Conversely, the GIFT Nifty fell by 96 points, or 0.38%, to 24,992 points. The Straits Times Index is down 0.50% at 4,251.77 points. The Hang Seng Index decreased significantly by 315.18 points, or 1.23%, at 25,352 points, while the Nikkei dropped 311.34 points, or 0.74%, to 41,515 points. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.34% to 3,593.38 points, with the SET Composite Index down by 0.05% at 1,211.93 points.
