TSK batted first, scoring 181/4, with solid contributions from Devon Conway (34 runs off 22 balls), Sitaiza Mukkamalla (31 runs off 22 balls), and Daryl Mitchell (not out 36 off 33 balls). Donovan Ferreira made a significant impact on the match with an explosive 32 runs off just 16 balls, maintaining a strike rate of 200. The innings was bolstered by a 57-run partnership between Conway and Mukkamalla after the early dismissal of captain Faf du Plessis.
LAKR struggled in their response, finishing at 124 all out. Their top scorers were Alex Hales (25 runs off 17 balls) and Unmukt Chand (22 runs off 23 balls), but their partnerships couldn’t boost the team’s momentum.
