Mumbai, 15 May (HS): Mumbai police seized 3 kg of

narcotic drugs from a house in Bainganwadi in Gowandi area, and arrested a

23-year-old youth in this connection. The rugs worth Rs 6 crore were in possession

of Salman Izhar Sheikh.

A team from Shivaji Nagar Police Station on

Wednesday raided the house based on the intelligence information and seized

three kilogrammes of Mephedrone (MD), the market price of which is Rs about Rs 6

crore. Besides the MD, police also seized 12 Kg of Ganja (marijuana) worth Rs

2.4 lakh, and 36 bottles of Corex cough syrup worth Rs 1.3 lakh.
