Delhi, April 28 (HS) : The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has denounced comments made by Rakesh Tikait, a Bharatiya Kisan Union leader, asserting they support anti-national elements and warrant investigation.
Following the murder of 26 innocents in Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian government suspended the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan. Naresh Tikait criticized this decision, advocating for the treaty’s continuation and farmers’ access to water.
Mohini Mohan Mishra, General Secretary of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, responded vehemently, linking Tikait’s remarks to pro-Pakistan sentiments and calling for scrutiny into the motivations behind such statements. He expressed that these views strengthen terrorists and undermine national security.
The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh emphasizes national interest and plans to protest against the Bharatiya Kisan Union leaders’ positioning.
