Delhi, 18 October (H.S.): The inaugural Tribal Business Conclave 2025 will be held at Delhi’s Yashobhoomi complex on November 12, aiming to serve as a transformative milestone in the nation’s development journey. The event is being organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Ministry of Culture to empower tribal entrepreneurs and foster inclusive, innovation-driven growth across India.

The year 2025 holds special significance as the nation commemorates the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. According to a statement from DPIIT, his ideals of integrity, innovation, and self-reliance continue to inspire India’s path toward justice and development. The conclave serves as a tribute to his enduring legacy by bridging traditional knowledge with modern entrepreneurial frameworks, supported by year-long national projects and celebrations.

The event will feature several key segments designed to provide a comprehensive platform for tribal entrepreneurs. A unique session titled ‘Roots to Rise’ will allow tribal entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas directly to investors, CSR leaders, and government bodies, paving the way for mentorship, financing, and incubation.

The conclave will also host knowledge sessions, including panels and masterclasses led by industry experts and policymakers on topics such as finance, branding, inclusive growth, and entrepreneurial capacity building.

Further highlights include a CEO Forum for leadership dialogues on shaping strategies for innovation and market access, as well as an extensive exhibition featuring over 100 tribal startups and micro-enterprises. These exhibitors will showcase their diverse products, including handicrafts, agricultural goods, forest produce, and green technologies.

Dedicated buyer-seller meets will also be held to connect tribal producers directly with corporate and government procurement channels, fostering long-term partnerships.DPIIT stated that the conclave is poised to mainstream tribal entrepreneurship, enhance branding for indigenous products, build capacity within tribal communities, and facilitate stronger market linkages and access to investment opportunities.

Key strategic partners for the event include FICCI, which has been designated the industry partner, alongside Startup India and the MSME Clusters Foundation. Prayog Foundation will serve as the knowledge partner. The conclave’s official logo, theme, and digital assets, symbolizing the convergence of tradition, entrepreneurship, and innovation, were also unveiled.
