India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has once again proven his consistent excellence. On Thursday, at the 2025 Diamond League Final held in Zurich, he secured second place with a best throw of 85.01 meters. This remarkable effort extends Neeraj’s streak of finishing in the top two at every event he has competed in since 2021.
Germany’s Julian Weber clinched the title with a best throw of 91.51 meters. This marks Neeraj’s 26th consecutive tournament finishing either first or second, a streak ongoing since June 2021 after the Finland Kootaney Classic where he had finished third.
