Nuh Police arrest local quack Mohammad Tarif for alleged spying

New Delhi/Nuh 19 May (H.S.) : Nuh Police, in coordination with a central agency, apprehended local quack Mohammad Tarif from Kangarka village for allegedly spying for Pakistan, following the arrest of another suspect, Arman, two days prior. Tarif is accused of leaking military intelligence to Pakistan and has purportedly confessed to providing a SIM card to an employee at the Pakistan High Commission and visiting Pakistan. A case has been registered against him and two Pakistani nationals, Asif Baloch and Zafar, under Section 152 of the BNS and sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Official Secrets Act at the Sadar Tauru police station. Police sources indicated that Tarif had been transmitting sensitive information regarding the Indian Army for an extended period and was soliciting others to obtain visas to travel to Pakistan. He was arrested late Sunday near Bawla village, where he attempted to erase messages from his phone upon spotting police. Two mobile phones were seized, revealing deleted data linked to a Pakistani WhatsApp number, and chats including military-related content sent to a number in Pakistan. Investigators are currently interrogating him.
