New Delhi, March 9 (HS) : Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta has announced the commencement of the office allocation process for newly elected MLAs to assist them in connecting with their constituents and providing effective public service.
Following the revocation of offices for previous MLAs during the 2025 elections, the Assembly Secretariat is now prioritizing the swift allocation of new offices to facilitate legislative duties.
The relevant departments have been directed to ensure that the allocation process accommodates the MLAs’ needs and requests, enabling them to address constituent issues efficiently. Gupta emphasized that it is critical to provide the necessary resources for elected representatives to serve the public effectively, as constituency offices strengthen communication between MLAs and residents.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance governance and make democratic processes more effective. By having dedicated offices, MLAs can directly engage with citizens and address their concerns, ultimately contributing to a more accountable and transparent democratic system in Delhi. The timely completion of this office allocation will improve coordination between MLAs and the public, fostering a more responsive governance framework.
