One Afghan among terrorists killed in Pakistan, 10 bunkers demolished

Islamabad, 08 February (HS): Pakistan has said that one of the terrorists killed recently by security forces has been identified as an Afghan citizen. This Afghan terrorist, who was spreading terror on the country’s soil, was killed in Datta Khel in North Waziristan. Meanwhile, 10 more bunkers were demolished in the upper and lower parts of Kurram in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to The News International, the army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) today said that the killed Afghan citizen has been identified as Luqman Khan alias Nusrat, son of Kamal Khan. He was killed by security forces in an operation on February 6. He was a resident of Spera district of Khost province in Afghanistan. Officials of the interim government of Afghanistan have been contacted to take his body.

The ISPR said that this proves that Afghan citizens are involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan. It is expected that the interim government will teach a lesson to those who carry out terrorist acts against Pakistan. It is noteworthy that Pakistan had also handed over the body of a terrorist to Afghanistan last month. According to the ISPR, 48-year-old Afghan citizen Mohammad Khan was killed in the Sambaza area of ​​Zhob in Balochistan on January 11.

Meanwhile, an official in Kurram, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, has said that 10 more bunkers have been demolished in the upper and lower parts of the district. Parachinar Tehsildar Naseer Abbas confirmed that the number of demolished bunkers has increased to 48. Meanwhile, compensation money has been distributed to 37 families who lost their loved ones in terrorist incidents in Kurram district. According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority coordinator Shiraz Bacha, cheques were handed over to the affected families.
