Delhi, 30 April (H.S.): AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has called on people to participate in a protest against the Waqf (Amendment) Act, organized by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB). He urged the public to turn off their lights from 9 PM to 9:15 PM on April 30.

Owaisi stated that the Act infringes upon the Indian Constitution and fundamental rights, disrupting the operations of Waqf Boards. He emphasized that this gesture aims to signal to the Narendra Modi government that the Act is unconstitutional.
