Hospete (Karnataka), 20 May (HS): AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge charged here on Tuesday that the Modi government’s security failure was responsible for the death of 26 people in the Pahalgam terror attack.
Speaking at the dedication ceremony organized in Hospete in Vijayanagar district of Karnataka on the occasion of the completion of two years of the Karnataka Congress government, he said that the central government’s security negligence was the reason for the Pahalgam terror attack.
Alleging that the central government has failed to provide security to tourists, Kharge said that the Prime Minister was supposed to visit Kashmir on the 17th but canceled his visit based on the information given by intelligence officials.
He questioned the fact that the same information was not given to tourists in advance about the Pahalgam attack. Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that Prime Minister Modi, who is concerned about his security, has shown negligence in the security of ordinary citizens.
