Pakistan's white-ball vice-captain Shadab is set for an extended absence because of shoulder injury

Karachi, 1 July (H.S.): Pakistan’s limited-overs vice-captain Shadab Khan is set for a three-month absence due to a recurring shoulder issue that needs surgical intervention.

An insider from the Pakistan Cricket Board stated on Tuesday that the PCB’s medical team has recommended the leg-spin all-rounder to have surgery for his ongoing shoulder issue.

The source indicated that he is expected to travel to London for the operation shortly and will need a minimum of three months for rehabilitation.
