Delhi, 13 March (H.S.): Prasar Bharati launched the Shared Audio-Visuals for Broadcast and Dissemination (PB-SHABD) in March 2024, offering free access to daily news items in various formats—video, audio, text, and photos—without logos until March 2026. This initiative primarily supports smaller media organizations. PB-SHABD harnesses a vast network of over 1500 reporters, correspondents, and stringers, along with 60 dedicated 24/7 edit desks, to provide extensive news coverage across India. Daily, over 1000 stories are uploaded covering 50+ categories, including agriculture, technology, foreign affairs, and politics, in all major Indian languages.

Key features include logo-free content, no credit requirement, a Live Feed for exclusive coverage of significant events, and a Media Repository for archival access.
