PM condoles the passing of Shri Harishbhai Nayak

New Delhi, April 12 (HS): The Prime Minister Narendra Modi today condoled the passing of Harishbhai Nayak, a senior pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. PM Modi said that his contribution to service activities and organizational work will always be remembered.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi wrote that he dedicated his entire life to the nation and, as per his wish, his body was donated for the education of future generations after his death. May God grant peace to the departed soul.

Harishbhai Nayak, aged 85, passed away late Thursday. His remains were displayed for last respects at RSS office, Karnavati, Gujarat, before being donated for medical studies, fulfilling his pledge for body donation.

Harishbhai Nayak, born on December 18, 1940, in Visnagar, joined the RSS in childhood. After earning a Mechanical Engineering diploma in 1963, he taught at Navsari Technical Institute and worked as an Assistant Engineer before resigning to become an RSS pracharak in 1968.
