
New Delhi, May 10 (HS): In light of the escalating tension between India and Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a high-level meeting on Saturday with the Defense Minister, NSA, and the chiefs of the three armed forces to review the security situation. The future strategy was discussed during this meeting.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg, was attended by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan, the chiefs of the three armed forces, and other officials.
Earlier today, the Indian Army stated that the Pakistani military continues to send its soldiers to forward areas. In response to Pakistan’s ongoing provocative actions and aerial conflicts, India has responded in a restrained manner. India has reiterated that it does not wish to escalate tensions, provided that Pakistan does the same.
