
New Delhi, 23 April (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi returned to Delhi on Tuesday night after abruptly ending his visit to Saudi Arabia due to the Pahalgam terrorist attack. During his time in Jeddah, he met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, who condemned the attack in Jammu and Kashmir and expressed condolences for the lives lost.
PM Modi praised the Muslim World League for its efforts in promoting tolerant values, moderation, and social cohesion, as well as its firm stand against terrorism and violence. The meeting included External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.Modi highlighted India’s philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, reflecting on the nation’s multicultural and diverse nature as a source of strength.
Upon his arrival back in Delhi, he conducted a briefing with key officials at the airport with National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to address the implications of the terror attack. The Prime Minister’s proactive approach underscores the critical importance he places on national security and unity in diversity.
